Free Community Emergecy Response Team Training

Free Community Emergency Response Team classes are coming soon to our local mountain area thanks to the great firefighters at Loma Prieta Fire and Rescue.

These classes are open to all local residents. Don't let the word "Team" deter you. You are encouraged to take the classes even if you do not wish to join the team. It's part of our goal of creating a Culture of Preparedness here in our local mountain community.

You must attend all 3 full days of classes in order to graduate:
9 am - 5 pm each day

6.5 magnitude earthquake hits the Eureka area, up north

After a week of earthquake activity on our local East Bay Calaveras Fault, a much larger quake hit the Eureka area up north.
